Accessibility Policy

Commerce Should Work for Everyone.

Effective Date: 14 August 2026Last Updated: 14 August 2026

OMNICART is committed to building digital commerce experiences that are accessible and usable by as many people as reasonably possible.

1.

Our Commitment

OMNICART considers accessibility throughout product design, development, testing, content creation, and continuous improvement. We actively work to incorporate the following accessibility traits into our roadmap:

  • Keyboard navigation mapping for all interactive features

  • Screen-reader compatibility utilizing semantic markup and ARIA attributes

  • Clear and readable content hierarchies with straightforward language

  • Appropriate colour contrast ratios that meet or exceed standard requirements

  • Accessible forms, transaction interfaces, and secure authentication

  • Captions, transcripts, and alternative text descriptions for media assets

  • Responsive and mobile-friendly layouts that adapt smoothly across devices

2.

Our Accessibility Standard

OMNICART is working toward alignment with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across relevant digital experiences.

Please note: This is an active implementation target and does not mean every single OMNICART page, feature, or customized merchant application currently conforms fully to WCAG 2.2 AA.

3.

Accessibility Principles

Perceivable

Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive (e.g., alt text, audio, responsive viewports).

Operable

User interface components and navigation must be operable. Interfaces should be usable through appropriate input methods, including keyboard navigation.

Understandable

Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable. Content, form structures, and system errors must be clear and predictable.

Robust

Content must be robust enough that it can be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including modern web browsers and assistive technologies.

4.

Where Accessibility Applies

Our engineering standards dictate that accessibility checkpoints apply to all digital properties developed and managed by OMNICART:

Accessibility in Commerce

Accessible Checkout

Logical transactional steps, structured form fields, full keyboard support, assistive screen-reader announcements, and clear real-time error prevention messages.

Accessible Merchant Tools

We work continuously to ensure that dashboards, inventories, analytics reports, and commerce configuration views remain usable by operators with varying abilities.

Accessible Content

OMNICART systems encourage meaningful image description templates (alt text), contrast guides for product images, readable type structures, and native document compatibility.

6.

Testing & Continuous Improvement

We Test and Improve

OMNICART employs regular system audits utilizing a balanced methodology:

  • Automated accessibility validation suites run within development pipelines

  • Complete keyboard-only navigation mapping audits

  • Screen-reader path mapping (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)

  • Contrast calculation checks for custom merchant interfaces

  • Mobile and touch-target accessibility reviews

  • User testing, manual design reviews, and feedback analysis

“Accessibility is an ongoing process. We continuously improve our experiences as technology, standards, and user needs evolve.”

7.

Report an Accessibility Issue

Tell Us About an Accessibility Barrier

Having difficulty accessing an OMNICART website or service? Let us know so we can investigate and improve the experience. Please reach out to us at:

8.

Alternative Access

Where an accessibility issue prevents you from completing an important business transaction or other digital task, OMNICART will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative, manual way to complete that task while the technical issue is actively being addressed.
